Well, it IS a good thing to value leftovers. But if I would eat all the stuff my kids leave at their plates…We are lucky: our chicken convert everything to poultry and eggs.

They are, but not in my area currently; it’s a matter of time I guess.
I feel your pain Annette; I hate throwing away food… unless it tastes terrible, THEN I have no qualms…
I remember basically having a breakdown over a twist-tie being thrown away. It seemed so cruel to just toss it in the garbage.
My grandmother saved those in a drawer. After she passed, we threw away a small trash-bag full of twisty ties.
