Ah, I wouldn’t know lol, nearly all the French I know comes from my patisserie and baking course I took an most things begin with “pate”. The rest I just gather from cognates and Latin roots :). I mean to learn it eventually.
Oh I am! i can communicate on at least a basic level in 5 including english. I’m working on Hebrew right now and Gothic is the dead language that I’m working on.
and i may or may not have a few languages of my own >_>
Actually, in this context, ‘me’ isn’t a possessive pronoun, but a reflexive pronoun. French has possessive verbs that need prounouns to refer to the person making the action (in this case, ‘je -me- brosse’ ‘tu -te- brosses’, etc). It would be a bit like saying ‘he’s showering -himself-‘.
(Sorry, about that, it’s just a random piece of information since you seem interested in languages, it’s an old comment and I’m aware, you probably know that now anyway)
LMAO! Maybe your accent is too thick?
It does understand me better when I talk like a news anchor. It never understands a word my boyfriend says.
This just in, Live from Canadia, Piere-Luc has another translate app. Now, to Boum in the field.
So… the possessive pronoun comes before the verb in french?
Oh, not always! I could also have said “je brosse mes dents” but it sounds funny.

This comic is actually really helping me with French, all I need to do is try and figure out what it says and see if I translated properly!
