You attract the strangest people, I swear.
Perhaps she meant “what comics company do you work for”? Like, she wasn’t really familiar with people doing it independently?
Hmmm, maybe. But that’s still a weird question to ask…
That was my guess.
I’m probably being generous with my interpretation, but I think she was speaking philosophically, then became irritated when she thought you were being obtuse.
Of course you do them for yourself, for the satisfaction of your creative impulses. That doesn’t negate that you also do it for your audience.

So she thinks…you make comics and post them online so…you can read them to yourself? That…makes no sense..
Luckily for me I enjoy them too. :)
She probably meant who do you dedicate them to, like a dedication page.
