I remember this one time I went to Ottawa for a job interview and mini vacation. Holy cow did the room suck! The washroom door was crooked and didn’t close properly, and there was a good 6-inch gap between the floor and the bottom of the door. The shower somehow sprayed on the floor causing puddles to spill in to the room. The bed must have had a 100 year old mattress because of how lumpy it was. The breakfast was… ok, almost as bad as what you wrote here. And then 2 out of the 3 nights teenagers (oh man, I feel old for saying that) stood outside the door smoking (the window leaked the fumes in to the room) and talking/yelling at midnight… right before the day of the interview… I did call the front desk and they got them to clear out, but it pretty much ruined my sleep, and I was not in the mood to do the interview. But the vacation aspect was ok and I got some nice pictures of Ottawa.
Sorry for that wall of text. But I hope it was entertaining at least!
It was!
wow miss the old hotel
Never betray Mariot!
Did you try calling the front desk to ask for an extra blanket? Most hotels would accommodate this request. If not, can you move to another hotel?
I should’ve called them, but I had a weird experience at the front desk at check-in, and this was in the middle of the night so I thought I’d cope. ¬_¬
The clerk offered her candy corn and kept using the phrase “more than happy.”
sucks when people play the moulin rouge soundtrack late at night
I was a little disappointed that the French version of the comic didn’t use and English-language song clip. :D
I stayed in a hotel that use to be a bank once, the vaults where still there and that was were the breakfast buffet was too, inside the vault, was cool, but there was a lot of beams inside the building g that my tall father almost busted his head on, multiple times.
