Grinding
A double-whammy for you today! I’m not entirely happy with this one. I feel there is a lot of text and I wasn’t able to properly summarize the story I wanted to tell. Also, it’s not laugh-out-loud funny… but hey! I liked that anecdote enough to share it.
I don’t think I ever made it out of the castle. I remember wandering around the castle a lot.
I think it works fine. But you might want to try making a 12 panel version where you expand on panel 5, and make 6 and 7 each two panels.
That would have been epic, haha! I’m always trying to fit my stories into four panels, when I can’t I’m giving myself a maximum of eight panels…
Thanks!
I always do that. In any game that’s tough, I just grind and grind until everything is easy. Then I take on the final boss and beat it in less than five minutes.
I only grind when I have to. I hate grinding.
Dude, you’re crazy! There’s nothing more fun than taking on challenges that are way out of your league. I love going into optional dungeons so early that I almost die in EVERY battle and walk out at triple the level I started at. I mean, I only play RPGs with an action element so there’s a LOT more room to push myself, but my point still stands. Sorry I’m so late, but it had to be said.
Hahaha! xD I like the build-up to the last two panels. Totally hilarious.
I feel shameful because I’ve never been into Final Fantasy, but I really want the latest one because the main character is voiced by JASON MARSDEN.
I FRIGGIN LOVE MARSDEN♥♥♥~!!!! ONLY thing/person I fangirl over. @_@
I don’t even know who this is. XD
I stopped playing FF when they switched to the PS2. Now I only like the old games because I’m an old fart.
Nothing wrong with loving a classic! =D I’m the same way, only with cartoons. I LOVE cartoons from the 90s/80s. Hey Arnold, Weekenders, Powerpuff girls, I could go on! ^-^
As for Jason Marsden, hopefully this will ring some bells. He voiced Kovu, the dark lion, from Lion King 2 and Haku from Spirited Away. =3
Ah, wait, Weekenders started in 2000, if memory serves well. Replaced that one with… Recess! =D Just as awesome, if not more.
I’ve never seen Lion King 2, either XD But Spiritied Away, yes. And my favourite old cartoons are Rocko’s Modern Life and Dexter’s Lab. :B
Those were wonderfully wacky! =D Loved them too!
HA, y0u nailed it, well d0ne, i l0ve when pe0ple thinks s0mething is difficult (0r it is but y0u are t00 g00d) and then when they are like “that b0ss is imp0ssible” and if they see s0me0ne beat it with ease, y0u can expect a single l0ud n0ise… ” I CALL HAX!!!”
But it would probably have been difficult had I not grinded the way I did :P
0verp0wered b0ss is 0verp0wered, speaking 0f l0ud n0ises, WHERE IS MAH B-DAY GIFT!?!?!? :D, jk, i already g0t t00 many b-day gifts XD
It was your birthday! Well happy b-day to you sir!
Just started reading last night and I remember doing that as well….I remember I was stuck after upgrading my heroes and I was just leveling with a team of fighter monk black white mage. The monk(master) was horrible with any weapon (even the legendary weapons). So I said fine…you gonna treat the best weapons of the game poorly, so I will give you nothing! You shall fight with your fists for the last boss! I buff him up and lo and behold hits the last boss for god like amounts of damage. Moral of the story, “Do not give masters a weapon, they are called masters for a reason.”
I don’t even remember what team I had! But I’d heard about that no weapons for Master thing. I probably had a monk in my team, too… I’m more of a “physical” fighter in games than a magic user.
I don’t know about “not laugh out loud funny,” I guffawed. :)
Well that makes me happy!
Heh, be glad you played the GBA version first. They fixed a LOT of the problems from the original. The NES version was SO VERY BROKEN! Fun but broken. The INT and AGI stats didn’t even work in the original nor did half the spells. I remember finding out about this 15 years later and being VERY upset that Nintendo Power lied to me. :)
