Snooze
So cruel!
In other news: Gatineau, I will be in you for the Rendez-vous BD de Gatineau this weekend, starting tomorrow! I’ve never been to Gatineau, this is my first time. Come and see me!

Lots of people do this, and I never understood the logic. Why would you want to wake up earlier, and have a bunch of disputed sleep?
I know!! I don’t get it either.
Seems like I’m also a Pierre-Luc! There’s no logic to it, it’s all wishful thinking. Every time the alarm rings you hope really really hard that you can get out of bed, but it ends up being too difficult…so you tell yourself you’ll just try again later.
I do this too! But usually for half an hour… usually.
Why? Disrupted sleep is awful for you. Its best to just sleep till 7am and get up the first time…what a strange habit.
I do this too. I always have every intention of waking up with the alarm… it’s just… really difficult to leave my bed. I have to argue with my alarm clock a little. It’s like this:
Alarm clock: Time to wake up!
Me: Nope. Nope. Nope.
Alarm clock: Actually, yeah, it’s time to wake up.
Me: Bed is nice though. I really can’t leave it.
Alarm clock: No. It’s seriously time to wake up.
Me: I don’t want to.
Alarm clock: Wake up dammit.
Me: Ah! Why is it that late already?!
And that’s when I get out of bed.
step one put feet on back
step two push really hard
step three go back to sleep :D
I had a roommate similar to this for a month. It wasn’t that he used snooze – it was that he didn’t respond. His alarm was a LOUD AND ANNOYING BUZZ – that was across the room – and it had to be buzzing for at least 2-3 minutes before he’d finally stumble and shut it off – but then, climb right back into bed… UGH!
I’m on the side of getting up at first ‘ding – ding – ding’ from my PDA/phone. Spouse rarely hears it

I do this too, though for me it isn’t a matter of trying and failing to get up.
If I set my alarm for 7:00, I won’t become aware of my actual surroundings (as opposed to my dreams) until around 7:30, and I still won’t be awake enough to care until it’s almost 8:00!
