Owwww….Now I’m a big guy and a huge klutz and goodness knows I’ve hit my pinky toe more times then I can count…how hard did you have to hit to make it go crunch? O_o I never could understand how people break their pinkies. And scary how common it is too!
I rammed it pretty hard into the wall, but it was the only toe to actually hit the wall. So imagine walking at a fast pace (a half-run maybe) and hitting your pinky on the wall while the entirety of your other toes make it through… It hurt a lot.
Funny fact: I had no idea it was broken until much, much later (YEARS!), when I learned what a broken toe looks like. It healed on its own after a few days, but for a good week I couldn’t even put socks on.
I did a similar thing but with my pinky finger. I fell on it on a wooden floor. Didnt know it broke at the time but now it is crooked compared to my other pinky finger.
Didnt really hurt much I remember. Just ached a lot.

Owwww! I don’t usually cringe, especially being a nurse but this is one situation I can feel your pain! x_x
