Not unusual. I remember a security update for my netbook that took nearly *two hours* to upload and install. (It was about 150 mb.)
My husband writes database software, and gets paid for the time it takes the computer to compile. Compiling hours are at a different rate, but still.
that last panel is hilarious. having been on the grinning end before. and getting the hairy eyeball like that. :-)
