I remember one summer when we visited my parents. The kids were 2 and 3 – we wondered why they were getting so grumpy. My parents lived 200 miles west and 300 miles north – about 30 miles from Canada. It was still light enough to be outside at 10:15 or so, instead of our usual 8:45ish.
Not a chance, lol. To be fair, it’s also harder for them to get sleepy when it’s so light, so you also have to make it dark just to help them quiet down.
I’m assuming it’s not as simple as telling them that 7/8pm is bedtime even when the sun is up?
Kids that age have no understanding of time, really…
