Alternatively, you could buy her a small blank-page book and use that as a sticker album. (Of course *then* you have to make sure that she doesn’t lose the book…)
Oh no! I’m a librarian and I just did this to a parent. I heard the exact same conversation going on behind me, and walked away from another patron to get replacement sticker before the little girl could really work herself up. I felt so bad! The good news is that the patron was very nice about it. She went through the same thing with her kids! No more stickers for me.
Honestly I think the solution would be to give stickers with their peel-off paper included, so the kid can put it in a sticker book/wherever they want.

You shouldn’t make it a top priority to tell girls that they are pretty all the time or they will think its all that matters in life. :l
