Itch
So for the past two weeks, my body’s been covered in huge rashes I can’t stop scratching because I obviously suck at not scratching. I’ve seen my doctor about it. Diagnosis? Probably a reaction to pregnancy, and it might not go away until I give birth in May.
She prescribed me a bunch of lotions and creams and pills that don’t really work. I’ve been to the hospital today and will have to go back. I take multiple baths everyday. The inside of my hands and my fingers itch so much that they swell and sometimes I can’t even hold a pencil without hurting (which is why this comic is late). On the other hand, my nausea and extreme fatigue seem to be finally gone; yay?
I can’t wait to hold this baby in my arms and for my body to go back to normal -______-
Aveeno hyper moisturizing lotion. Saved my life. I had the exact same thing during my pregnancy.
I have Aveeno Anti-Itch, I’ll look this one up too, thanks!
I hope you dont take this the wrong way, but you really remind me of a monkey in the third panel. To the itch, try Aloe Vera. Helps against sunburnt and dry skin. I dont know if its okay if you are pregnant just an idea.
Scratching monkey!
its all that chocolate milk you drank in the last comic!
Maybe you’re molting???
After you shower try putting some coconut oil on the rashes. It’ll dry slowly, but once it does then put on the other lotions.
Its like a crazy good moisturizer and is usually cheaper than lotions since a little bit goes a long way.
“Pregnancy is amazing” is trademarked?! O.o
Why are you continually apologising for posting the comic late? They’re free entertainment and the fact that you post them here is extremely sweet and awesome of you. And coupled with the fact that you’re pregnant and are suffering from “amazing pregnancy”, I think only dirtbags would actually require an apology. So don’t worry, post them in your own time.
Awww geeze, you’re too nice to me <3
At one point, I had Aveeno stuff to put in the bath, it looked like oatmeal, really.
Must be that: http://www.aveeno.com/skincare/products/soothing-bath-treatment
