Hourly Comic Day 2022

Hey! Long time no see! I’m not one to skip on traditions, so get ready for some 2022-flavoured Boumeries. I’ll be posting one new comic every hour or so all day, here and on social media. It’ll be a difficult year for me because I’ve been very sick in 2021 and lost an eye, and since then drawing on paper has proven to be a challenge, but I’m up for it. Hopefully it won’t show that I’m struggling ;) Check this page often!
[EDIT] That’s it for me! I had a good time, although I found I was a bit rusty. I hope you enjoyed! For those who are wondering, the book I’m working on is titled The Jellyfish and should come out in French this year, and in English hopefully soon after. Be sure to check out Cab’s comic Utown, too! I don’t do heart emojis because to me they look like tea-bagging (I grew up looking at smileys like this direction :) so it doesn’t work). But “heart emoji” for you and your family and health and your work!
The book isn’t out yet! I have yet to ink and shade it! It’s supposed to come out this fall in French, and then crossing my fingers than an English version follows soon after. Thank you!

It’s not out yet! The title will be The Jellyfish, but it comes out in French first in late 2022. English version has no date yet but I’ll be sure to keep everybody posted!

I love seeing your hourlies! I had been following the comic a While before it ended, and I always look forward to the hourlies, even if my rss feed doesn’t notify me until days later.
Also, one of my eyes also doesn’t work, and it just kinda makes me smile when I see someone else with problems like that, if it makes sense :-) Looking forward to the book!

I am glad you still do Hourly Comic Day! I have been reading since before you had the girls and I really enjoyed it.
Just to let you know: Shrek isn’t the one singing that song (Smash Mouth – All Star) at the beginning of the movie. It’s just playing in the opening to the movie. The song came out in 1999 and was quite popular and then regained popularity in 2001 after Shrek was released. It also regained popularity more recently, when used on TikTok. I personally like the film (it’s not my absolute favourite movie or anything but it’s good) but cannot stand the song at this point. It’s overplayed and obnoxious. Just my opinion though. No offence to anyone who likes the song! Also, to answer Pierre-Luc’s question about why the girls are not eating: they’re busy telling you about their day at school and are too excited about that to remember to eat. Lastly, and I think I commented this before, a few years ago, why do you still tag any comic featuring Pierre-Luc as Boyfriend, if you guys are legally married? Shouldn’t it now be husband? Thanks for making such a fun comic!
Hi ten thousand years later! I know about the song– I’m old! It was just easier to picture Shrek with the lyrics so that everybody would understand exactly what song it was. I haven’t changed the tag because I would probably have to manually change it on all 1,600+ comics!
Make more comics i miss them …….i just read these cause well twitter has become a mess and I must of missed them …..
