Hot Dogs
I’m a little embarrassed. (And yes, I top my hot dogs with processed cheese. I didn’t like hot dogs until I decided it was okay to dress them as hamburgers.)

There is nothing wrong with this option of food. As a parent I too, have gone this route. In fact I cut these flat soft taco shells in half, and roll em up after I roll the hot dog in a cheese slice. They are snug in said wrap, and ontop of it, it works as a great option when your kids decide they don’t like hot dog buns because “Too much bread.”
If that’s the case, you should’ve added some tomato and onion, so they wouldn’t look so lonely out there.
It’s not actually *that* depressing! All the hamburger kiosks here in Sweden do this, and they make a wrap out of it. Mashed potatoes or seafood salad, some lettuce and a little red onion, sliced tomatoes if that’s your thing, maybe some ketchup, definitely spicy mustard.
I top my hotdogs with cheese too, don’t worry. Nacho cheese is best but sliced will do most of the time.
I would have gone out of my way to make that a mexican hot dog thing. I would add tomatoes and onions and lettuce and whatnot. I create some stuff when I have random things lying around!
You’re all right, I should’ve pimped it way more!
Put a bit of refried beans and some salsa in there and we called it lunch when I was growing up. New Mexican cuisine.
Why do you BOIL hotdogs?? They taste the worst that way !
But also I’ve put them in tortillas and honestly they can taste better than with buns that way
HAHA
They were just cheap wieners. I guess I like to boil these because my mom would do that? I grill all other sausages.
Are these the Fresh Tortillas from that antique shop?
You have SOME memory O_O
That is what we would call a Perrito.
;)
I know its really too late for it but if you ever happen to find yourself on this situation again you could also have cut the tortilla in half and rolled a hot dog in each with the cheese then just cooked or microwaved it until the cheese melted enough to stick it together. Like sausage rolls but cheese and tortillas.
That’s a really good idea!!
There is nothing wrong with hot dogs/sausages with cheese on tortillas! Add a little sauce (mustard or whatever, I like mayonnaise!), melt in the microwave, and afterwards add some diced tomatoes, pickles, or relish.
I agree! Just… it doesn’t look appetizing served exactly like you would a hot dog ;)
