Flab
Psst: you should check this comic out too.
[EDIT] I corrected the mistranslation! Sometimes French words have two different meanings and, well, I should know by now.
A reminder:
Hey guys! If you’re ever in the Montreal area on July 24th, I’m doing a book launch for Boumeries volume 2! It’ll be at bar La Quincaillerie (980 Rachel Est), from 5PM to 7PM. I’ll have books 1 & 2 and also my Culottes courtes zine. (Here’s the Facebook event if you’re into that kinda thing.) I hope to see you there!
Those who can’t attend because they’re on the other side of the planet, you should definitely head to the online store. Yep. <3
what does she mean by… ‘fresh’?
She meant “cold” or “cool”. It’s something that we say in french that doesn’t make any sense in english :P
I actually thought that based on context, but i had to ask XD
I corrected it now :P
thanks lol
Haha my arm-flab seems to be chillier than the rest of my body too! Freaky.
It’s a wonder of nature!
O.o Using the word “fresh” makes sense to me…
*jumps to conclusions*I must’ve been french in a past life. owo Yay!
I do the same to my little sister. She’s a healthy weight with a little pudge while I’m seriously underweight for someone my age. Her flab is so much fun to just squish. owo
so what? now everytime you two are suffering due heat she will slide below your flab?
The best spot!
This summer has been generally miserable in Norway, but we had just a hint of hot weather last friday. I did exactly the same thing to my girlfriend. Consequently, I was reminded of this comic, so I showed it to her :) That flab coolness is a funny phenomenon!
What was the temperature out there?
About 110F/43C? A terrible heat wave.
