I have never understood why people really bother to ask to touch random peoples kids…Why do people feel the need to touch?! If you want to touch someones baby go find a relative with one or go adopt a puppy or something. Sheesh.
I mean at least they did ask and didn’t just go for it.
This is the WORST, especially during cold and flu season. I don’t want even well meaning strangers touching my kid in the summer, why would I be down with this NOW–she picks up enough horrible colds in kindergarten, I don’t need the chances that she’s sick again next week to skyrocket because you wanted to pet her hair whilst breathing directly on her. O_o
People are resolutely stupid about gendering babies. I thought everyone misgendered my daughter at first because I had an infant with no hair that I dressed in blue… until the day someone called her a boy *while she was wearing a dress and a floral bonnet.*
