Caterpillar
I feel like Annette will not mess around in life.
People of Montreal! Danielle Corsetto, author of Girls with Slingshots, will be in Montreal for a signing, and I’ll be there with her so it’ll be a DOUBLE signing! Danielle will have her Complete Girls with Slingshots (a gigantic collection!) and I’ll have my Boumeries volume 8. To make it easier since I won’t be dealing with the sales, I’ll ONLY bring English copies. Come and get some rad comics at Drawn & Quarterly this Saturday!
Deer hops out of the woods… “Look Morty; the beauty and majesty of nature! Truly we are blessed with…” *BLAM!!* “… delicious deer steaks!”
You should have been more specific as to how’s he can touch it.
This is good. Its best she doesn’t go around touching all sorts of bugs. Imagine if that was a poisonous caterpillar or a spider or something. Splat is good!
Or maybe we don’t teach kids to just KILL Things because we THINK they might be bad, and instead to simply leave them alone.
Touching=bad
Splat=also bad
I would have made that face too D:
Ha! We just went to a birthday party at a botanical garden where they brought in some ladybugs to inspect and then the kids got to release them into the garden. The whole thing was steeped in carnage.
You have to be careful with hairy caterpillars. My cousin held and smooched one, and got all blistery and rashy on her stomache. Hairy ones often have some sort of poison.
Fun caterpillar story: my elderly grandmother picked up a hickory horned devil thinking it was one of my toys. It was my show and tell the next day (and until just now I thought it was poisonous, but apparently not. I distinctly remember my mom telling me it was, so yay internet for fixing that misconception). Looks as wicked cool as I remember though…(seriously, google it, it’s like some weird anime villain)
