Nope, still not ready.
Yes! She wasn’t that much into it but since then she has been requesting Jack-Jack nonstop. She liked it more than we thought!
How’d Margot like the movie?
Still better then me, who ended up going home from a theater as a child with a cast. (Though it was partly my father’s fault)
Sounds like you should be making a comic out of this!
I was being rowdy (I was always a handful as a kid) and my dad picked me up and put me down in the seat next to him. Thing is my leg caught on the seat as he was sitting me down and my ankle got all twisted. I don’t remember much of either the incident or the aftermath, I was really little. I wanna say it was Aladdin we were seeing.
I love finding out what kids have decided to do in any particular moment! It’s always unexpected. I remember one time, we were getting ready for a road trip, and my daughter (who was maybe 4 at the time) decided we needed a safety briefing. So she made all the adults line up by the back door so she could flip through a book and point at all the pictures and explain what safety tip it represented. It was a book of crochet patterns for stuffed toys, though, so it lost the plot in the middle somewhere. Like, “Make sure to wear your seatbelt. Don’t talk on your phone while you’re driving. Stay with the group and don’t, uh, wander off into the woods. Make sure to… feed… the deer. Run away from wild predators.” When she was done, we solemnly thanked her for making sure we knew how to be safe. Then I went to get my son (who would’ve been 2) to put him in the car, and I found him in my bathroom, licking the shower door.
