That combination’s a great idea. I’ve tried with earbuds in two ears and it always ends up being painful, but I never thought to mix and match.
You should look into sleep headphones. They’re soft and flat inside a headband, and are very comfortable.
You need to be careful if you have started snoring. It could lead to sleep apnea which can lead to heart problems and other. Some fixes are simple like attaching a tennis ball to the back of your night shirt, others require a CPAP breathing machine that pumps air into you past the throat obstruction.
Start Internet research?
I have a CPAP machine for apnea and it works like a snorkel. I sleep incredibly comfortably wrapping a blanket around my head.
My mother says (though I don’t know where she gets her information) that it’s a part of the throat that gets lax that causes snoring in most people, and singing or playing an instrument that uses the throat muscles can help tighten it and at least lessen snoring. I don’t know if this is true, but it’s what I’ve heard.
