Well, they have like at least 20 years worth of episodes to go through so, they’ll be there awhile.
Thankfully I have Gargoyles on DVD but Exosquad season 2 will never be published =(
Gargoyles was such a watershed moment for TV animation, almost as important as Batman: TAS. Me personally, I’m all all about Reboot!
Is there any cartoon you think kinds would turn down if they parents are actively encouraging them to watch it? Maybe excluding some of the more awful edu-tainment ones.
Oh yeah, kids have tastes. My kids don’t always agree on what to watch, and sometimes a new show bores them to death, even if you know it’s a good one.
Yes, sometimes your kid and the show just don’t click, no matter how great you think it is.
When my son LaMa (who was than… 3,5 I think) and I browsed youtube, we found a show based on ‘Guess how much I love you’. I loved it. There were cute animals, sweet stories. It was full of love, the characters respected each other, communicated in a positive, appreciative way even in conflicts and so on.
LaMa didn’t share my enthusiasm.;)
It is a fathers duty to **ahem** model appropriate cartoon consumption.
Why not both?
Beat me to it lol https://i.imgur.com/wJlucY0.gif
Yeah, that’s one of the sweetest part of parenting. To be able to share thing you loved as kid (and the love for it when you’re lucky).
Tomorrow I’m going to start reading ‘Ronia, the robber’s daughter’, a friend’s present for my son’s 5th birthday. I haven’t read it as child but I loved the movie and I’m looking sooo much forward to read it to him.
(I’m sorry my awkward and rusty English – I’m totally out of practice)
Your English is fine! English isn’t my mother tongue, either :)
