Annette doesn’t eat anything these days, I wonder how she’s still alive.
Lol, that’s my nephew to a t.
I’ve done this as a kid, except I hid the food under my plate, didn’t think the plan trough well enough obviously, you should have seen my face when mom praised me and told me to put the plate in the dishwasher
I don’t think Annette does it on purpose yet, though — she drops the food or plays with it, but has no intent of hiding it. Your story is hilarious!
Gosh I remember those chairs, and the straps to hold the kids in once the tray is off. A couple of times I hosed the whole thing down in the back yard.
Also I thought I would mention: We would say “everything that was *on* your plate”. (I only say it because you seem to appreciate the advice.)
Gah! I knew it sounded weird! Thanks!
This comment now makes me wonder what the comic said before…
Typical French mistake, I’d written “in your plate”. The food is inside the plate, no? ;)
That would work with bowls- “in your bowl”, but “on your plate”. English is not the most pleasant of languages!
Don’t worry, French is a true pain in the ass.
