My daughter’s first word was “kih kat,” and I had witnesses!
Later, we realized she had been saying Okay “Ah kah” and Oh God “Ah Gah” for months before we realized the specific words she was saying.
(Happy face) Ah kah! (Sad face) Ah Gah. Hilariousl
The way I read it was with a cute little baby voice in the first too panels as expected but then Barry White’s voice in the third as if it was one of those automated phone services that has one person’s voice but when you punch in a number it repeats itin a different voice. Basically “Apah! appo joo! *deep voice* KEYS, BABY!”
My son had a speech delay (he had fluid buildup in his ears and he was very nearly deaf and we had no idea) and for the longest time he couldn’t say “chocolate”. He pronounced it as “cuppy”. So we would always laugh when he asked for “cuppy mihl (milk)”.
Adorable. Just frickin adorable.
My little brother’s first word was “light” (or “ayt”, cuz baby). He loved it when we’d turn the light on and off lol
I don’t know what my first words were, but I used to pant for “clock”. My baby cousin’s word for ball was “INGA INGA INGA INGA”.

Apparently my first words were a phrase, “I got.” Mom took it as a sign that I was particularly gifted. I’m not so sure about that.
My sister’s first word was “batman” – I had a batman record and wouldn’t stop playing/singing incessantly it at the time

My first word was truck. Or, it was supposed to be, it came out a bit more lewd.
