Toddlers are insanely tough and stoic, at least the ones I have met or enjoyed bringing up (so far). It makes it so much harder when they’re sick and really not feeling well, or injured, it just breaks my heart. It’s also why I can’t bear to watch those sick/hungry children emotional blackmail ads on tv.

Your daughter is an Amazon in training…soon she’ll be kicking all the butt.
That is also the sound I make when I step on Lego.
I trod on some LEGO only today and made a bit more noise than that. Maybe rather more. OK, I MADE A LOT MORE NOISE!
Of course, I am a lot heavier than a young toddler!
(I’ve got a LEGO-brick-shaped bruise right under the arch of my foot.)
