By the way, I’ve been meaning to ask, I understand that you and your husband just got married, but you had your children years ago. Is it legal in Canada to have children, but not get married until some time after?
THIS comic has happened to me! I have three sons, but when two of them were young (ages 2 and 4) they did this exact same thing! And yes — it was weird. And yes again — I think it was cabin fever. My wife told me to take as much time as I could in taking out the trash.
It’s legal to have children without being married in… just about every country I can think of. You could hypothetically have 6 children, all with different fathers, without even dating said fathers. Probably shouldn’t, but you legally can!

In Canada it’s legal to not get married at all.
Well now I’m very curious where in the world (literally, not euphemistically) it’s illegal to have children without getting married.
…that was supposed to attach to ThunderPheonix’s comment, not sure what happened.
Me too :/
Same. Children happen.
I’m gonna guess that person is young and possibly lives a sheltered life.
That’s very interesting! Thanks for letting me know! :)

Where is it not legal to have children out of wedlock? Maybe culturally or religiously frowned upon, I can understand that being a thing.
