Terrible Twos
We know we shouldn’t, but every time Annette tries sending us to our room (“NIGHT NIGHT MOMMY/DADDY!!”), we burst into laughter.

Why not laugh? She’ll learn that she’s being ridiculous.
Well, when you’re trying to be authoritarian and you laugh at your rebelling kid’s antics, they learn that they can get away with stuff. (But we can’t help it.)
My 20 something month old tries to lock me in our complex’s tot lot and then leave. If I leave, she comes back and points inside the lot and tells me to stand there.
I guess she thinks I don’t relax enough???
Oh no, it begins! I can only imagine how terrible it must be for parents who have twins (or more!) to deal with it at the same time…
Hang in there-they won’t last forever…I think…I don’t blame you for laughing at your kid sending you to your room! She’s got leadership skills!
