Syrup
I’ll be doing a small series about my trip to Vancouver for VanCAF!
Starting with: the table syrup. It was so thick I had to actually spread it on my pancakes with a knife. It was disgusting.

A long time ago i bought a small “souvenir” (100ml) bottle of REAL maple syrup. When i finished it the 1st time i washed it out and refilled it from a big jug of maple syrup, and now whenever i travel i bring my little maple syrup bottle with me because “table syrup” is probably made from tables. I hope my words of wisdom will help you properly enjoy pancakes in the future!
“Table syrup”.
Isn’t that English for “shellac”? ;-)
Yes, you are correct!
I remember the day I forced my husband to read the ingredients label on his precious “Pancake Syrup.” He was SHOOK.

I avoid most corn & corn products, especially corn syrups. The exception is my butter-flavored Lite pancake syrup; “Stay away from my Precious”. Oddly – I find “real” maple syrup was too strong a flavor.
Oh is that one of those pancake printing machines? XD I love them and hate them so.
