Yes! That’s our house, too. For my son, it’s “Hi my name is Teddy do you like firetrucks I like firetrucks!” It’s sort of his pickup line, especially for garbage collectors and basically anybody wearing a hard hat (“work guys”).
Ah, I remember stories of when I was like that! She’ll grow out of it, and will mostly share things less concerning and more embarrassing as said above. My favorite was sad, so I won’t share it here, but I was too young to understand that it WAS sad.
I doubt you’ll have a problem. Canadians being nice is probably a stereotype for a reason. I wish the US was more like Canada.
