Spicy
I’d been warned that Korean food was spicy, but you never really know until you try it. Normally you’d find solace in the (incredibly good) white steamed rice, but this one time the cook just tossed it in the thick chili paste. There was no possible way out!
Also! Next weekend is the Montreal Comiccon and I’ll be there selling the Boumeries book, along with originals and such. Be sure to drop by if you’re planning on going! Here’s where to find me!

While you’re in Korea, you should try eating all the weird stuff! Try chicken feet, blood sausage, pig feet, and silkworm cocoons! :D
I’m already back from there so I didn’t try these delicacies :P
hehehe, i love spicy food, the more spicy the better
So, I’m Korean and this comic makes me so unbelievably happy because I can actually read the Korean!
(To clarify, 닭 갈비 actually just means grilled chicken; the spicy just happens to be the norm…)
But yeah, it’s always amusing to see peoples’ reactions when food is spicier than it seems.
Oh, and Redcarline? Silkworm cocoons are actually the silk. No, you eat the actual silkworm XD
(And blood sausage (순대) is one of my favorite foods!)
Heh.
Ahhh that makes me so happy, too! I’m glad I got the Korean right!
Now I want to go back there :C
There’s my personal hell.
You ever reread a comic and find comments you forgot you wrote?
Yep, its absolutely HORRIFYING for me. I was so weird at 11…
