Sleep
Can’t really blame her, she was 24 at the time — I’d done it too. Also, check out how my mom holds her NES controller! She and my dad had to change their ways when the SNES arrived with its L & R buttons.
[EDIT]
You guys! There’s a webcomic tournament going on, and the first round of voting ends tonight. Boumeries was added just today, two days after everybody else, so I have a lot of catching up to do if I ever want to make it into the second round! Please go vote for me, it only takes a minute and it’ll help tremendously! Thank you so much!
Every adult has the mind of a child sometimes. I already know that I won’t stop being childish in the nearest future.
Love the 3rd panel, you can feel her anticipation :)
I love it too!
Like a BOSS.
So I’m not crazy. xD I’ve never seen someone hold the controller like that. Then again, I’ve never seen someone play the NES. I don’t play a lot with friends.
I’m about to be 24 and I’m very into games so I can see why! My ex had her niece living with us for most of her life (from infancy) as her sister (the mother) was in a very intense university course and relied a lot on her family to help. We raised her for about four years, I’d be there about half the week, and it was pretty much that. We’d put her down and immediately stick on a show or movie. One time, we were playing a Wii dancing game and she woke up and immediately wanted to dance but refused to let us stop. I was EXHAUSTED. On top of it, the loud Aussie neighbour (can’t blame him, the walls were very thin) was on a Skype call and was talking about the “annoying lesbians nextdoor and their baby they somehow conceived” and we burst out laughing. Queue the little niece yelling “LESBIANS!” for six days. I love kids. I finally came out as a trans guy after we broke up and I don’t know how she’d react if she saw me now, but regardless, I still find that memory really funny > : )
