Well he is actually not wrong. If there is a hole on the mesh that is supposed to be your “underwear” with the swim trunks, you could get your testicles or penis caught and say for example you were going down a water slide…yeah, you get the picture. I have actually seen it happen before. We nurses have some weird stories I’ll tell ya.
Shorts with mesh linings are the worst! So many good swim shorts for men now that actually have a proper inner rather than mesh.
Can’t say I’ve ever experienced what Raph said, but really glad I stopped using the mesh ones now.
I’ve heard you’re not allowed to swim in pants that you use elsewhere (sports etc) for hygienic reasons.
