My sister used to do that… then one night I snuck in and sprayed an entire can of hairspray on her hair…she looked like a troll doll the next morning, had no clue until mom screamed, HHAHAHAHAH
I do this! If my hair’s not up and out of the way, I get tangled in it and it gets pulled. But I can flip back and forth; it’s not like I can’t move at all.
I have super long hair now and I absolutely flop the hair over the back of the pillow. Still don’t know why I bother, since I don’t even have the strict “no moving so I don’t sleep on it” rule that you had.
I do the same thing with my beard, it must stay above the blanket, if it’s under I get this wicked curve in it. It doesn’t come out for a few days (even with shower, blow drying, product, etc).
I do this if I’m wearing my hair curly. Sleeping on your hair can crush and mess up natural curls. But I definitely don’t stay still. That shit ends up everywhere eventually.
I sometimes do? But mostly I’ll just twist it up nicely under my head, so I’m literally sleeping on top of a twisted little bun (but made without hair ties or bands, so my scalp won’t get stiff)
I literally always have my hair in a braid, because it’s crazy annoying otherwise. I never even thought to do the hair-over-the pillow thing because I’m in the habit of braiding it before I go to bed (if it hasn’t been braided all day).
I did that when I was a kid with long hair too! I didn’t like waking up with my hair all in my face.

When I had super long hair, I would do exactly the same thing.
i still put my hair over my pillow.. it’s because i don’t like how it feels on my neck though.
Yeah, I still do this because I hate it getting all up on my neck. Somehow putting it in a braid makes it better and worse at the same time.

You aren’t the only one, and I’m a guy.

Do the same, to get it off my neck, keep it from tangling, and to keep it from being rolled on by someone else next to me. >_<
I can’t believe I never thought of that -_-

That is so funny and inconvenient all at once.
I just braid it or put it in a messy bun with an elastic.

I probably should have done that when I had long hair, because I would constantly wake up to it being tangled into a solid mass
that was me before I started to wear two scrunchies to keep my almost a yard long hair- =A= I should cut it but I don’t want to.
