Geez, your youngest sure seems to smack your eye around a lot. I have to wonder if this is actually affecting your vision? My older brother threw a tennis ball at my eye twice in the span of a week and it’s never seen right since. (My glasses have a stronger prescription in my left eye.)
I sent Pierre-Luc to the drugstore to get me eye drops but the pharmacist refused to sell him any, and told me all I had to do was to apply a wet washcloth on it for a while. My eye hurt until I went to bed and let it rest for several hours, but the next morning it seemed fine. I got scared though!
Both of my girls had the “amazing” ability to hit me in the eye, without looking. Thankfully, the inadvertant ocular onslaught ended as they each began to master their manual dexterity. This, on the other hand looks somewhat deliberate :(

That is why I love glasses. They don’t just correct eyesight, they protect from pokey little fingers.
Nope. In my experience, pokey little fingers can slide around any obstruction that doesn’t 100% enclose the eye.
Mine are pretty good at protecting from pokey fingers. On the other hand, the smears from said little fingers are driving me nuts.
I hope you did see an eye doctor. Fingernails can scratch the eyeball and cause pain beyond the simple poke.

Holy sh!t bro are you going to be okay?
It was scary but it healed during the night! Longest eye pain I’d ever had.
…Well this is familiar. Your girls like giving you eye pain, huh?

It was deliberate! I hope she’ll learn it hurts soon, though.
And that’s why you gotta wear safety goggles around toddlers
