(I finally understood what’s going on with this when I realized that if I ordered a nice dessert in a restaurant, and it came out all lumpy and weird-looking, I’d want to cry too. Cereal bar (my daughter calls them “ba!” and gets very excited at the thought of one) = fancy dessert for toddlers.)

I keep trying the “See? Now you have two!” tack, but my kids aren’t buying it.
