Once (before I was born) my dad (known for his amazing long hair and beard) shaved off both the hair on his scalp and the hair on his face. I’ve only seen one photo from this period, before he grew it back, in which everyone agrees he looks terrifying, like a club bouncer. He hasn’t so much as had it trimmed since, and my mum jokes that she’ll divorce him if he ever does it again.
