holy caw, boum. I didn’t even realize you had a webcomic too! (this is Greensprout from deviantart) I suppose in my head you spent all your non-deviant time working on school projects and animations… HOW I WAS WRONG. =D Love’n it!
Just a minor correction: when japanese is written horizontally, it isn’t read from right to left, only when done vertically (its especially confusing, because it makes it look like the symbol for ‘to’ is backwards). Took me a minute to realize he was saying “Batman”. my mental proces: “huh…? ‘so-ma-to-shi-ba’? ooooh! ‘Battoman.’ I get it!”
Haha! I was wondering if I got it right! I (obviously) don’t speak Japanese so it was part of the joke that it’s badly used although I didn’t mean to write it backwards… Does the text make any sense at all? I was hoping that the verb tenses would be slightly wrong
One time in a restaurant I saw a card with this horizontal text:
ルービロポㇱサ
I thought, rūbiropossa? What can that mean? Then I read it the other way: sapporobīru.
Okay, so translation time (My specialty)! In panel 1,”Aa! I forgot to cook
dinner! Panel 2, “I’m gonna ask for help” SFX Ring ring Panel 3. “Yeah, please come here now!” Panel 4. BATMAN!
In panel 1, I’m assuming that’s what you were trying to say. But there’s two problems here. First, 私は夕食を?やし. I can’t read that last kanji. I’m assuming you meant to write 焼 which actually means “to fry or bake”. And if you were saying that you forgot to do it, then the sentence is way off.
Other than that and the Batman thing, you nailed it.
Haha, then great, it makes some kinda sense! Actually, in the first panel I’m saying “I burned dinner”. It was intended to be wrong (I don’t speak — even less write — Japanese), but I like that some people can actually read it and find it silly ;)
batman, c’est l’homme de toutes les situations.
<3
Héhéhé <3
BATTOMAN.
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNN.
SUGOIIIIIIII! SAIKU DA!! =^.^=

Well, school is done for me y’know! I’m working freelance now, and this comic is what keeps me creative in-between. :D Thanks!
im so sorry… i dont mean to be “that guy” but what are they saying?! @____@
Haha, don’t be sorry! I didn’t tell anyone what they are saying. I don’t even speak Japanese myself ;) It’s got something to do with dinner.

Bah, it’s okay :)

So you’re a batman fan~♥?
Haha, not really… It was just a totally random idea and somehow Batman had to be involved. ;)
