Story of the rabbit:
It first appeared in 1998, in a partner’s trailer video, but the video which started the Rabbit fame was the 1999 trailer:

The rabbit appear out of nowhere at the end, with a terrible incrustation job. People started to call the rabbit during the video, and shouting of joy when he appeared.
The next year (2000), people tried to call for the rabbit, but there was no rabbit in the trailer. And everyone was sad. Yet, they kept on calling him!
On the last day of the festival, organizers caved in and added a rabbit in shadow play after the partner’s trailer. There was much rejoicing.
Ever since, the rabbit has appeared in every festival partners’ trailer.
