24h Comics 2011: The Boumerie Principle
Hi all! Today is 24h Comics 2011 where I’ll be doing a 24-page comic! Keep checking all day!
EDIT
Well, wow — the imposed theme (a very lengthy philosophical quote from John Locke) proved to be a true challenge, but I hope I didn’t bore the hell out of you. I’m happy with what I did. I hope you guys enjoyed as well!
Good luck, Boum! I love 24-hour comics and I can’t wait to see what you do.
Thanks Josh! I hope I didn’t deceive you.
Great stuff so far! Go go go! :D
Thanks :D
Miss ya Walt! Come back anytime, your company still rules the world!
XD
i love this long post! :D
Gracias :D
Sam proves the hypothesis is WRONG! Yay
:D
hahahaha awesome, and the good news is that we are still alive =P! lol
Indeed!
Way to disprove! Keep up the good work :D
Thanks Mike!
Haha c’est nice! Et ca ressemble pas mal aux questions que jme pose sans cesse… QUI DÉTIENT LA VÉRITÉ ABSOLUE?
NOUS NE LE SAURONS JAMAIS
I really enjoyed what you did! Please don’t stop!
Thanks! I won’t! (yet)
Is this your doctoral dissertation? Remember to cite your sources!
My brother once brought up a spectacular point: nobody ever sees themselves as the “bad guy”. You never truly think that what you’re doing is evil, no matter what. You justify it somehow in your mind or get crushed by guilt. Just read Macbeth. (Spoilers)
Criminals do have their own personal views of justice, even if it doesn’t always line up with everyone else. After all, everybody has an opinion for everything.
But what about gangs when they first began? They acted as protection and law enforcement in impoverished areas that the police ignored. Despite corruption, are they any better than a certain percentage (not all) of American police who use their position of authority to abuse those they dislike?
You’re probably right– I wrote this in under 24h, I had to think quick. I thought the final joke was enough to demonstrate that the whole thing wasn’t well thought out. ;)
Dexter is well worth watching until the end of season six, at which point it jumps the shark hard.
