Visas
Welcome to a new special event — Korean Month! All the comic strips in September will be about my trip to Seoul, South Korea with my younger sister Daphnée.
Needless to say, it was a bad start. I don’t know what I would’ve done if she made us miss the plane.
Been there, done that.
I found the general reaction of people (including staff) when going to Korea was a sort of “Korea? Where all the commies are? Why are you going there?”
Given what many assume all of Korea to be like, she must have though applied visa was necessary, haha. You still get an auto-visa on the way into the country though, righT?
Yup, for six months exactly.
My sister also got the weird remarks when she said she was going to Korea. She was shopping for guide books and the store clerk told her “There’s no books on Korea. No one goes there.”
and sometimes you wonder “HOW THE FUCK YOU GOT THIS JOB AGAIN?!?!?”
My thought exactly!
OMG, I ran into this SO MUCH when I was planning my trip. The visa stuff is insane. :P
The same thing happened to me… only I -did- miss my flight, bastards!
Damn them!
